Hello lovely people,
This week’s 5 Glimmers
This week feels like one of those weeks where ideas have been arriving faster than I can catch them. Thoughts scribbled in notes, strange dreams, little moments of comfort, and tiny reminders that joy doesn't always arrive loudly.
Here are this week's glimmers...
Rainy days for Pluviophiles ☔
Rainy days are always good days if you're a pluviophile like me (someone who loves the rain). A permission slip to be cosy, stay inside, and not be anything other than exactly what you are.
Winter sunshine + coffee on the deck
There is something about winter sun that feels softer than summer. Less demanding. A coffee outside in the cold, wrapped in layers, face turned towards the warmth in my favourite spot. Tiny magic.
The Strawberry Moon 🍓 This week there was a Strawberry Full Moon and strawberries always make me think of Mum. Funny how certain things quietly become people. They appear unexpectedly and suddenly there they are with you for a moment.
Windy beach walks that blow the cobwebs away After a month in London during a freakish heatwave, I am so happy to be back in winter. Windy beaches, cold air, big skies. The kind of walks that feel like they clear space in your head.
Stepping back into yourself I have been thinking a lot about joy this week and how sometimes we lose little parts of ourselves without realising. The things we loved, the colours we wore, the things that made us feel most us. Maybe finding joy again isn't about becoming someone new. Maybe it's just quietly stepping back into yourself. I feel a blog about this brewing x
Bonus glimmer: I finally defrosted the freezer — one of those niggly jobs that had been annoying me for ages. Deeply satisfying.
I'd love to know your glimmers from this week too.

In the studio this week...in the search of joy x
For anyone who likes collecting little things too...
• Book recommendation - Still Life by Sarah Winman – just finished this…it took me a few attempts to get into this one, mainly because of my short attention span, but definitely worth the persistence. Set in war time London & Florence with lovely characters.
Thank you for being here x
